To strengthen our engineering team at our cocoa plant in Hamburg, we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d). The position is initially limited to 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for individual investment projects at the site
- Planning and execution of technical projects in production and infrastructure
- Coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Support in building permit and approval procedures
- Construction supervision while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Schedule, budget, and cost control including regular reporting
- Coordination of suppliers and service providers
- Liaison with authorities such as BUKEA, HPA, Occupational Safety Office, and Fire Department
Your profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project planning and execution, ideally within the food or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of construction and approval procedures as well as authority management
- Strong organizational skills and cost awareness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
