Responsibilities include:

  • You will plan/forecast the designated raw materials/packaging on short and short notice medium-term future
  • As a result, you are responsible for the order and logistical follow-up of this raw material
  • You are responsible for the short term planning of the Gourmet packaging centre and the material availability for those productions
  • For this you have close contacts with suppliers. There is also a lot of contact with external warehouses and you are also responsible for optimising these contacts maintained
  • You are also in constant contact with internal departments such as the services purchasing, production, production planning and the logistics teams.
  • On the one hand, you ensure 100% material availability and, on the other hand, optimal availability,
  • Cost-conscious logistic flow and optimal stock levels. The latter gives you responsibility over the working capital.
  • You take the necessary actions so that the continuity of the production process is guaranteed i.e. if necessary, have the production plan adjusted in accordance with the availability
  • You bear responsibility when escalations occur in relation to a material shortage and cooperates with procurement and suppliers to find a solution
  • On the basis of functional analysis, you optimise the current way of working to systems , processes, costs and efficiency
  • You make the invoice check and give the necessary approval/rejection.
  • On a monthly basis, you do a stock control onsite, at the warehouses and confirms these figures

About you:

  • You obtained a master's or bachelor's degree (preferably in an economic/logistics field) or you have equivalent experience
  • Experience in a supply chain environment is an extra asset
  • You are fluent trilingual (Dutch/French/English)
  • You have an analytical mindset and a result-oriented approach is characteristic of you
  • Moreover, you are a communicative team player with an assertive approach
  • Go-getter (being able to deal with setbacks)
  • Being able to work under pressure and manage different things at the same time
  • Able to set priorities and take initiative
  • Good SAP and Excel knowledge
