About the role:
As a Finance Business Partner CSD, you act as the financial business partner for the Halle manufacturing site, supporting operational performance, financial planning and strategic decision-making.
You serve as the financial eyes of the plant, providing insights, analysis and recommendations that help drive profitability, operational excellence and business growth. Working closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams, you ensure financial considerations are embedded into key business decisions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
 
Key responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities for the Halle plant.
  • Monitor performance against budget and prior year results, identifying risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overheads and G&A expenses.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives across operations and supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Pricing and Operations teams to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory, spare parts, CAPEX, provisions and accounts payable to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, BPIs and other financial performance indicators.
  • Support investment evaluations, business cases and ROI assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects related to costing, inventory, data accuracy and operational performance.
  • Support make-or-buy analyses and subcontracting evaluations.
  • Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Support the execution of site and cluster performance improvement programs.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • 4–6 years (or more) of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Controlling or a similar finance role within a manufacturing
  • environment.
  • Experience in a multinational organization, preferably within food manufacturing or B2B industries.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, operational excellence, controlling and supply chain finance.
  • Experience working with site leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to challenge, influence and drive change in a constructive manner.
  • Team player with a proactive and agile approach.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
