Finance Business Partner 

 

Location: Vic, Spain
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Arrangement: On-site /Hybrid 

 

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and business-oriented Finance Business Partner to join our team at the Vic manufacturing site. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to the local plant management and a key contributor to the financial performance of the site, working in close partnership with the South East Europe cluster.

This is a high-impact role focused on driving business performance through financial insights, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. You will act as a key interface between Finance and Operations, ensuring that data-driven decisions are made to support our long-term business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Vic site, aligning financial objectives with strategic goals.

  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.

  • Provide proactive business support to plant management, fostering cost discipline and promoting operational efficiency.

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, overheads, and working capital, and propose cost optimization strategies.

  • Support investment decisions through CAPEX planning, ROI analysis, and feasibility studies.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Pricing, Sourcing, and Commercial Finance.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.

  • Develop and present financial dashboards and KPIs to enable data-driven decisions.

  • Contribute to global and regional finance projects, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.

  • Participate in standardization and simplification of finance processes within the CSD cluster.

 

Profile Requirements

 

Education & Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required (spoken and written).

 

Experience:

 

  • 4–6+ years of relevant experience in finance business partnering, controlling, or FP&A within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven track record in managing financial processes at factory/site level.

  • Experience in a multinational or matrix organization, preferably in the B2B or food industry.

 

Technical Skills:

 

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, standard costing, and operational finance.

  • Proficiency in financial planning tools, ERP systems, and data analysis.

  • Sound understanding of supply chain financials, investment analysis, and forecasting methodologies.

 

Personal Competencies:

 

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.

  • Hands-on, solutions-driven, and proactive approach to challenges.

  • Able to work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams.

  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
