About the role
The role is responsible to accelerate the growth of our Gourmet brands via acquisition, retention and growth of Key Accounts (OEM, Bakery/Pastry Chains, HORECA Chains, CandC Chains) in East Java, Central Java, Bali and Sulawesi.
Key objectives:
- Increase direct contact with key account end-users
- Grow our customer base
- Drive volume and profitability growth
- Increase brand awareness
- This role could evolve towards a sales manager role with team leadership responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
- Lead the growth of our Key Account business in East area by identifying, hunting and securing new Key Account Customers in all priority channels (OEM, Bakery/Pastry Chains, and HORECA Chains)
- Ensure customer retention, loyalty, and growth via upselling, cross-selling and unparalleled customer service
- Closely liaison with distributors and their sales teams to achieve synergies and accelerate growth Collaborate with a multifunctional team: RandD, Supply chain, QA, Marketing, Sales, and Chocolate academy chefs. Customer service to deliver the best overall customer experience
- Generate strong brand awareness and ”pull" at the end-user level via sales and marketing initiatives.
- Independently work and in collaboration with distributors
- Liaise closely with marketing and the chocolate academy chefs to host inspiration/ co-creation days to develop innovative product solutions for your clients
- Collaborate with Chef and Distributor team to develop recipes and to meet the customer requirements
- Work with supply chain and customer support to work on forecasting. Stock levels and deliveries to ensure optimum customer service
- Own your customer portfolio, KPIs, and steer your business independently with the guidance of your Manager
- Travel around Indonesia to identify new opportunities.
- Keep in touch with market developments and ensure close proximity to clients
About you
- Bachelor degree, preferably in a Business/Marketing- Hospitality field
- Minimum 5 years Sales and Marketing experience, ideally in bakery/pastry products, food ingredients, or branded food products
- Experience working with or managing key accounts (OEM, Bakery/Pastry Chains, HORECA Chains, C and C Chains) is critical.
- Experience with distributors and distribution networks, especially in foodservice a plus
- Good understanding or experience of brand and HORECA Industry
- Familiarity with SalesForce and SAP is a plus
- Competencies in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint is a must
- Fluent in English: written and spoken
