About the role:
This position is responsible for supporting the SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) teams worldwide by improving processes and activities. They will collect and analyze data, track, and report on compliance progress and results, build small management reporting tools, and conduct ad hoc analysis to support improvement projects. They will also provide first-line support for OSCO/SHE applications, assist in resolving issues, contribute to the development and maintenance of processes and procedures, provide training and maintain the LMS system, and support and conduct data analysis and reporting for these applications.


Key responsibilities:

  • SHE-related project coordination
    • Support and coordinate (compliance) projects in the domain of SHE, including data collection, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects.
    • Support SHE teams worldwide by collecting information from internal and external sources, analyzing data and activities from various databases sources (such as SAP, and Salesforce), and tracking progress on improvement of these activities.
    • Develop and implement small management reporting tools to automate regular reporting at a global, regional, and local level.
    • Support specific improvement projects.
  • Application Support/Power User
    • Provide first-line support to global and regional teams for OSCO/SHE applications, such as the Capa tool, incident reporting, LMS, QDS, and others.
    • Assist in resolving major or repetitive issues with the corporate helpdesk for these applications.
    • Test and approve solutions provided by the Information Management (IM) department for reported requests.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of process descriptions, procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
    • Provide training and support on the use of OSCO/SHE applications.
    • Upload, maintain, and track training materials/learnings in the BC LMS system.
    • Conduct data analysis and reporting for OSCO/SHE applications.


About you:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in a multinational company, participating in projects related to applications and data system development and improvement.
  • Fluent in English. Proficiency in other languages is a strong asset (French, Spanish).
  • Experience with SAP & google platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of doing statistical analysis in Excel.
  • Demonstrate insights into systems, tools, and data support.
  • Analytical thinking: systematically identify and understand problems.
  • Being an effective listener and communicator.
  • Coaching and training skills.
