ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

  • The position will be a member of the management team of the Transport activities for the sites located in Brazil and reporting directly to the Transport Manager. This professional will coordinate all the activities that support the strategy in Transport to improve and sustain KPIs in the delivery process and leverage service scale.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead the Brazil Control Tower team, driving best practice adoption, resolve issues and partner the sales leads to ensure exceptions service delivery.
  • Oversee daily delivery status providing information to Customer Service and Commercial team.
  • Establish, monitor and improve performance on service level agreements with carriers.
  • Solve customer issues and drive corrective, preventive actions.
  • Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
  • Develop modern business methods/processes, and identify best practices in the market.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance and identify areas for improvement, track progress.
  • Monitor the deliveries and the freight cost to ensure the best cost benefit. 
  • Analyze and compare the distribution model with market practices to implement the best model.

 

SCOPE:

 

  • This role supports the cocoa and chocolate operations within Brazil and will be based in Extrema factory. 
  • Travel and customer visits required

 

ABOUT YOU:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineer, Business Administration, Economics or equivalents
  • Intermediate level in English language
  • Continuous improvement and Statistical Skills are a plus
  • Experience in leading Transportation functions 
  • Leadership strengths with the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Relevant knowledge of the retail distribution model
  • Ability to manage deviations during the distribution traffic
  • Ability to drive projects to completion
  • Problem-solving through root cause analysis
  • Desirable knowledge of the SAP Order-to-Cash process
