Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the flow of the Import/Export official documents approval by Government and Custom Authorities
- Being a one single point of contact for custom brokers and customs for managing and controlling operational and legal process
- Providing and/or organizing all relevant documents for import and export operations
- Creating of Purchase Order (PO) for: Imported raw materials, and Finished Goods (FM and Cocoa Business) in ERP(SAP).
- Controlling and approving all invoices regarding imported raw materials, imported finished goods (FM and Cocoa Business), bonded warehouse suppliers and custom brokers
- Controlling for raw materials flow with the bonded warehouse suppliers.
- Organizing transport services between Port to Bonded warehouse, and Bonded WH to External warehouse for raw materials and FM and Cocoa Business finished goods.
- Organizing transportation and all relevant activities for imported raw materials and finished goods.
- Managing the International Logistics Suppliers: Tendering, Contracting and Executing the International Logistics Services with Suppliers: to organize a tender on yearly base, to make a yearly contract with the short list suppliers, to track the KPIs, to apply the price mechanism requirements, to search market prices through a year
- Cost Saving and Avoidance tracking such as transportation unit price negotiation, custom (agricultural) duty, due dates etc.
- Taking part or leading projects related with imported raw material and finished goods in import operation.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering will be an essential
- Min 3-year experience in import & export operations and logistics supplier relations
- Experience with ERP systems, i.e. SAP
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Analytical thinking, strong planning and organizational skills, team player and attention to detail are required
- Well written and spoken English language
- Good knowledge international logistics and Cocoa market and legislation in related fields
- Suitable for living in Eskişehir or Istanbul
