About the role:
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisors manages and coordinates activities concerned with the production of the location’s products. The Production Supervisor has a strong commitment to food and employee safety, ensures compliance for the production department and in the application of his/her daily routine.
Key responsibilities include:

Manages plant operations within the shift and ensures daily targets are achived

Report prouction figures through SAP and other database files

Report downtime, waste and quality issues

Oversees breakdowns and technical issues by coordinating with maintenance and reporting/escalating issues

Acts as a leader for the shift by working on developing the staff through cross training and job sharing

Allocate staffing and resources according to line demand

Oversee and monitor production schedules and adhere to production plans while adhereing to all GMP and Safety policies

Implement and adhere to Food Safety Program (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
Education:
-
Associates degree
-
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing background a plus
Work Experience:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
-
Previous experience in ERP systems reuired, SAP is a plus

Must be able to freely move around the entire facility

Must be able to climb stairs and ladders

Must be able to work in extreme climate conditions
