Manages all inventory accounting of raw and finished goods. Records and maintains control of all inventory imported.  Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.  Familiar with a variety of inventory control concepts, best practices, and procedures.

 

  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of raw and finished goods inventory.
  • Conducts daily cycle counts.
  • Reports inventory changes via SAP.
  • Conducts in depth research to reconcile inventory discrepancies in SAP and physical stock locations.
  • Validates and executes inter-warehouse material transfers in SAP to maintain accurate inventories.
  • Reports damages of goods to Warehouse Manager.
  • Develops and monitors optimized inventory bin utilization to support logistics requirements.
  • Supervises repack damage process
  • Supervises Customer repack project.
  • Controls scrap and missing stock
  • Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s
  • Committed to providing a safe food product
  • Works within all regulatory requirements

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • BA/BS in accounting or 5+ years experience with emphasis on food industry desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • ERP or related experience needed, SAP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, and to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.
