The position of Sr. Finance Business Analyst, Supply Chain will sit in the Eddystone Cocoa Manufacturing Facility, located in Eddystone, PA and report to the Director of Cocoa Finance in Chicago, IL.  This position will support the business’ key initiatives while providing Eddystone Cocoa team with financial information to enable them to make operational decisions based on facts and figures.  Information on evolution versus targets for operation efficiencies, warehouse management and inventories must be provided in a professional and timely fashion.  

 

As the finance lead for Supply Chain, this position plays a key role in the management team. To be effective, good personal interaction skills are required. It is vital to be a team player.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Advise the Plant Manager & Supply Chain Management team in short and long-term decision making in line with overall business direction and goals

  • Analyze, interpret and manage financial and business performance

  • Analyze supply chain cost variances vs Budget and provide accurate and timely comments to key stakeholders

  • Ad hoc financial analyses to provide insights 

  • Proactively provide financial insights on efficiency improvements, cost savings, expansion projects, footprint studies and other potential projects

  • Transform historical and forecasted numbers into actionable results

  • Prepare budgets and forecasts together with budget holders

  • Ensure integrity and financial control

 

About you:

 

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing 

  • Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B/food industry

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite

  • Strong background working with large data sets and Microsoft Excel
