About the Role
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor the Associate is responsible for the movement of materials, product dumping and powder packaging across the site. Closely collaborating with the operator to ensure a smooth process. In the role you will learn about Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) as well as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Poins which are critical to ensure the quality of our product. Main Responsabilties& Scope
● Execute safe, compliant, and efficient material handling and production/packaging operations. Maintain product quality and food safety (GMP, HACCP, regulatory compliance).
● Ensure accurate inventory control, logistics flow, and documentation. Support end‑to‑end supply chain operations (receiving → processing → packaging → shipping)
● The roles operate under supervisor direction, with increasing ownership with more seniority, especially in: Troubleshooting, Process improvement and Cross-functional support.
● Safety & Compliance: Follow GMP (5S, Cleanliness) , HACCP, OSHA standards. Maintain safe work environment. Complete safety checklists and training. Daily (operations, PPE, behavior), Monthly (safety training completion). Full ownership at individual level; accountable for zero incidents
● Quality Assurance & Product Integrity: Inspect materials (damage, weight, sealing), Monitor metal detectors. Monitor and clean Magnets, sieves, filters. Perform sampling and QA handoff. Daily / per batch / per shipment. First-line quality verification. Compliance with food safety standards
● Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, Move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods as needed. Direct execution; high physical interaction. Expectation for Zero material movement errors.
● Production Support: Feed packaging lines, Perform cake dumping into silos, Collaborate with Line Operator, daily on continuous operation. Direct operational execution, expectation to Correct material-to-silo alignment and Continuous supply to avoid downtime.
● Documentation & Recordkeeping: Record material movements (SAP). Maintain manual logs and SAP entries. Track finished goods movements. Maintain chain-of-custody documentation, Daily / per transaction. Full accountability for accuracy.

Scope:
● This role is set in Eddystone, PA.
● With Eddystone being the current Cocoa site in the USA, customers and sister sites depend on our performance
● Candidate should have a willingness to agree for OT when coverage on other shifts is needed
About you
● High School Diploma or equivalent required
● Basic Computer Literacy preferred (SAP Exposure and basic Microsoft Office Package knowledge is beneficial)
● Able to understand and communicate in English
Essential Experience $ Knowledge / Technical or Functional Competencies
● Forklift Operation (certification preferred)
● Basic equipment operation (exposed to manufacturing processes)
● Basic understanding of troubleshooting
● Inventory and Record-keeping understanding

● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

● Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, able to stand and remain on their feet 12 Hours shifts.
● Work in a non-climate control environment. Temperature can rise to 130◦F on certain areas.
● Comfortable working on environments with exposure to cocoa dust, debris, grease, and slippery surfaces.
● Candidate should be punctual and reliable, shift starts at 5:45 (am/pm depending on Shift) and finishes at 6:00 (pm/am depending on Shift) Sunday-Tuesday & Sunday-Wednesday
