Operator I (B Shift)

About the role:
Working Hours: Shift B: Sunday to Tuesday, every other Wednesday from 5:45 pm to 6:00 am.
The Operator I is responsible for all functions and record keeping involved in packaging, pallet removal processes, melting activities for Liquor and Butter, (including SAP and MES), performing all the operational activities of production, following the safety standards, quality and meeting its standards, quality tests and controls and recording activities, involved from the Nib hoppers to storage liquor tanks. Coordinate grinding activities with liquor nib roasting operators. Associates will be cross-trained for all tasks and will rotate functions during the shift. Adheres to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the production area.
- Manage raw material inventory and production records using SAP/MES systems.
- Operate forklifts and handle pallets, packaging removal, and bulk material feeding into equipment.
- Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance of production and loadout equipment.
- Conduct product sampling and quality testing (pH, moisture, microbiology) with process adjustments.
- Monitor CCPs, HACCP procedures, and GMP compliance to ensure food safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with roasting and grinding operators to align production schedules and raw material availability.
- Maintain silo and tank inventories and ensure accurate daily reporting.
- Promote workplace safety, cleanliness, and adherence to operational standards.
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted continually.
- Certified forklift operator.
