Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance of Barry Callebaut LLC operations
- Support production by ensuring the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment;
- Under limited supervision, analyze, troubleshoot, install and repair electrical and mechanical systems on industrial manufacturing equipment;
- Repair electronic components and controls used in manufacturing;
- Locate and diagnose complex equipment failures including mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems;
- Coordinate and complete projects, on occasion with outside vendors;
- In-depth ability to use PC's and associated sophisticated software;
- Ability to use the most sophisticated test and measurement equipment associated with specific discipline;
- Communicate with supervisor for direction, to keep supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not operating properly;
- Generate, complete, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system;
- Perform established PM and PdM activities and identify new opportunities for improvement;
- Follow all GMP, HACCP and Safety regulations and guide lines
- Perform all other related duties as requested
- Help in the training of new employees, both production and maintenance when required;
- Maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment;
- Participate in the safety related training programs;
- Ensure the proper documentation of repairs, listing parts, record keeping and following the work flow process

About you:
- Associates degree, or equivalent, in electromechanical technology or similar degree along with 2 – 3 years of electromechanical experience;
- Proficiency with electrical systems and troubleshooting with AC and DC voltages and PLC’s;
- Proficiency in reading and editing VFD configuration, blueprints, P&ID diagrams and sketches;
- Proficiency in troubleshooting processes, installing and repairing new and existing equipment, and responding to machine and equipment issues in all areas of the facility;
- Ability to read and understand complex technical documentation associated with specific discipline;
- In-depth ability to use PC’s and associated sophisticated software;
- Lifting up to 60 lbs. and standing and walking for long periods of time;
- Must be able to work from an elevated platform;
- Must be able to work independently, follow through and complete tasks, and handle a multi-task workload;
- Must be able to work as part of a team with little to no supervision
