The Associate II is responsible for all functions and record keeping involved in receiving beans through processing beans into NIBS. Adheres to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures. Key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Verifying bean shipment / complete appropriate documentation
  • Control automated unloading process of beans from truck
  • Bean sampling / complete appropriate documentation
  • Equipment set-up and adjustments for cleaning and de-shelling of beans
  • Manage / balance actual bean flow through cleaning lines and de-shelling lines
  • NIB / shell sampling and hands-on testing for weights and shell percentages with subsequent equipment adjustment per results of sampling
  • 1st level equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Back up trailer to bean dumping station using the Jockey truck
  • Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s
  • Committed to providing a safe food product
  • Works within all regulatory requirements
  • Perform all other related duties as requested

 

 

About you:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy, knowledge / experience with PLC and SAP a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Valid driver’s license and prior yard jockey experience required
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
