About the role:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Packaging Associate is responsible for all functions in the cocoa packaging process while adhering to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures.


Key responsibilities include: 

  • Monitors automatic metal detector
  • Removes full pallets to the staging area with forklift
  • Recordkeeping of material movements in SAP
  • Manual recordkeeping of all Finished Goods leaving the production area
  • Feeds Packing material to packaging line
  • Removes full pallets/ Bulk bags inspects product for damages, reports damages and correct
  • Places proper WM labels on finished goods
  • Removes finished goods to staging area
  • Keep work area clean
  • Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s
  • Committed to providing a safe food product
  • Works within all regulatory requirements
  • Perform all other related duties as requested


About you:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, computer experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
  • Certified BC forklift operator
  • Able to multitask and work independently
  • Team player with good communication skills
