The Process Engineer serves as the technical expert for manufacturing processes, supporting the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of chocolate products. The role is responsible for process development, standardization, optimization, troubleshooting, and industrialization of new products while ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, and operational excellence requirements.

The position works closely with Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering, R&D, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement teams to enhance plant performance and deliver business objectives.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and process optimization techniques.
• Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and process capability tools.
• Experience with process validation, equipment commissioning, and project implementation.
• Understanding of OEE, productivity measurement, yield improvement, and waste reduction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing reporting systems.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Quality Systems.
• Experience in food manufacturing environments preferred.

About you:

• 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience supporting industrial manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements that deliver measurable business results.
• Experience leading or supporting capital projects, equipment installations, or process scale-up activities.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Data analysis and performance measurement.
• Statistical process control and process capability improvement.
