POSITION TITLE: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
REPORTING TO: Warehouse Supervisor
LOCATION: Dunmore, PA
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Summary:
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for all activities related to warehouse shipments and inbound.

- Provide daily reports to Warehouse Supervisor
- Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers and supervisor
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments
- Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, and returnable pallets
- Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated
- Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions
- Process daily paperwork and support inventory control and logistics as needed
- Check drivers in and out of appointments accurately using SAP and TMS
- Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage
- Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or forklift
- Loads trucks using a forklift
- Supports team members as needed
- Participates in audits
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED, required
Work Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience, required
- Food manufacturing experience, preferred
- Forklift operation, highly preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretching, reaching, frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs
- Long periods of computer usage; finger dexterity and hand movement for use of keyboard and mouse, repetitive motion
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock
- Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
