The “Finance Business Partner Sourcing” controls and optimizes the utilization of sourcing resources in order to ensure that the organization's short- and long-term business objectives are achieved. 

Co-pilot with the business and provide meaningful decision support to the Sourcing manager & Bean Operation manager whilst influencing and challenging key decisions.

Act as the Finance interface to non-finance departments combining financial skills with sourcing, cleaning & drying business knowledge. Follow financial and business performance and undertake ad hoc financial analyses to drive business cases.

Ensure integrity and financial control of the Sourcing & drying business.

The “Finance Business Partner Sourcing” proactively provides insights on business opportunities and risks as well as the respective financial impact to Sourcing Manager & Bean Operation Manager, Manager FBP country and country managing director. 

This job supports business initiatives aimed at improving operational and financial performance. This job gets guidance and support from the Manager, Finance Business Partnering Sourcing on complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of duties. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Act as strategic advisory interface to the Sourcing / Bean Operations management teams
  • Manages beans contract creation and implementation flow from the financial perspective (risk assessment, prefinancing, receivables follow up, etc..)
  • Contribute to developing business strategy (prefinancing, volume & beans quality, cleaning & drying etc...)
  • Facilitate strategic planning processes across the sourcing, cleaning & drying business
  • Support the leader on preparing and determining business objectives, strategies, and tactics
  • Ensure a good understanding and control of sourcing, cleaning & drying operations and that all necessary information is recorded in the appropriate information system
  • Ensures integrity and effective financial controls in the sourcing, cleaning & drying sites.
  • Support budget holders on preparing operating budgets and capex plans
  • Perform operation and business management reviews
  • Provides insights on financial improvement opportunities and supports the Leader to achieve them
  • Provide the business and management with analytical support to enable an understanding of business dynamics
  • Develop, analyze, and present financial results to the business and management (Sourcing, Cleaning & Drying Non-financial and financial data)
  • Lead and coordinate projects to improve business performance and operations
  • Perform any ad hoc activities requested by the manager FBP or any relevant stakeholder
  • Develop and maintain business performance scorecards including the associated metrics / KPIs

 

About You:

 

Required academic & technical qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, audit, Management controlling or similar
  • 5-10 years’ experience in finance as a supervisor (for stakeholder management)

 

Essential experience & knowledge

  • Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B / food industries
  • Microsoft Office and Google-based applications knowledge

 

Technical/Functional Competencies

  • Technical proficiency (e.g., SAP – ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English business proficiency (written and spoken)

 

Interpersonal / Leadership Competencies

  • Leadership experience (Drive to Deliver, Dealing with People, Shaping the Business)
  • Promote knowledge sharing organization-wide
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes, technologies, and organization
