The Sr. Analyst of FP&A is responsible for the internal financial reporting packages for the America’s region of Barry Callebaut, which include variance analysis and explanations.  This position will liaison heavily with each Business Unit and Functional team across the Americas and Group accounting teams.  This position is responsible for managing the Company’s financial planning activities, including long range plans, annual budgets and monthly forecasts with the expectation of providing insight and operational support to achieve near term revenue and earnings objectives.


Key responsibilities include: 

●    Prepare internal reporting packages, which includes P&L & variance explanations, functional KPI trends, working capital, customer margin/volume reporting and ROIC analysis
●    Partner with Business Unit teams in order to promote best practices and influence positive change
●    Support Business Partners on initiatives, projects, and strategies
●    Coordinate budgeting & forecasting process, communicate timelines and ensure deadlines are met
●    Cascade budgets / forecasts and strategic targets onto business units / profit centers
●    Monitor actual and budget / forecast allocations
●    Ensure regional financial results are reporting timely & accurate by actively contributing to monthly closing activities with proper analysis and variance explanation
●    Engage in monthly forecasting process, reflecting actual results and trends into expected financial results, communicates expectations and influences organizational performance to exceed forecasted expectations
●    Provide overall FP&A support, influence decision making, proactively identify findings, and present insights in a simple and concise way to senior management
●    Lead the stress test, budget, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
●    Perform ad-hoc projects as needed


About you:


●    Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
●    CPA or Master’s Degree preferred
●    3+ years finance experience
●    Progressive career growth
●    Proficiency in SAP, Business Warehouse, Excel, and PowerPoint
●    Analytical, hands-on, solution-oriented and performance driven to achieve targets
