About the Role
Barry Callebaut is seeking a motivated Summer Intern for 2026 to join our Chicago-based Corporate Account Sales team. This is a high-impact role designed to provide deep exposure to our commercial strategy and processes for our largest global customers. You will work together with the Commercial and Sales Operations team to enhance the Customer Experience, drive growth with our customers and support in optimizing end-to-end processes and building required tools for the Commercial team.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Supporting the Commercial team in growing the business: Optimize, enhance & standardize tools & commercial relevant materials
- Sales Process Optimization: Support the Commercial and Sales Operations team on finding ways to optimize our end-to-end processes within the team and with other stakeholders in the company with the aim to improve the Customer Experience
- Managing the Opportunity Funnel & health within Sales Force:
- Follow up with Sales on Open opportunities & growing the funnel
- Opportunity maintenance to keep an accurate view on our future growth potential
- Liaise with the Demand Planning team on translating the opportunities into the forecast
- Mapping our customers’ portfolio:
- Identify which brands we are supplying
- Define the white spaces in our customers’ portfolio
About You
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to gather, organize, and analyze data to tell a compelling story.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Digital Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong understanding of social media platforms for professional branding.
- Passion: A genuine interest in the food/manufacturing industry and a desire to live our core values.
