About the Role

 

 

As a Project Manager, Americas Regional CoE you are responsible for managing high priority Quality projects and programs regionally aligned with global projects and priorities.

These include but not limited to FSQR Compliance, customer complaints, cost savings, cost of non-quality (blocked stock, quality waterfall), product adherence to specifications, analytical and systems related initiatives.

This position reports to the Americas VP Quality CoE. You will have multiple reports within a project structure depending on the project.

 

 

Job Responsibilities Include

 

 

Manage transformational/ high impact regional Quality projects

  • Take ownership of specific larger Quality projects with regional impact aligned with the global strategic plan: manage project plan, timeline, budget, risks and stakeholder management.
  • Build and lead a project team within the Americas region and functions and report to key stakeholders, develop mitigation actions where variances occur according to plan
  • Manage change management to support smooth transition
  • Manage project interdependencies and external dependencies

 

Convert proposed approaches and direction into Policies and Procedures

  • As a result of the execution of projects, the new ways of working shall be formalized in Policies and Procedures and the proper functions trained to assure good execution and compliance
  • Support regional initiatives to consolidate knowledge and information in the company platforms like SharePoint

 

Consult on Quality topics in business projects or programs

  • Support and give advice in different business projects on Quality topics
  • Drive compliance with the BC requirements on Quality and Food Safety in the design, development and execution of business projects
  • Contribute to the set-up of new and updated BC standards (engineering, GMP, issue management).

 

Training and development

  • Develop/Build and give training on quality principles for the regional quality organization and also for the broader organization to create a larger understanding of the importance of quality in our organization.
  • Organize Quality Onboarding Trainings and the training roadmap
  • Identify training improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement by setting up processes, guidelines and tools to embed the quality requirements in the different phases of business projects in close collaboration with the Quality teams, CI&TS, Process excellence & engineering teams.

 

About You

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or other related relevant education
  • 10+ years of experience of which significant number of years in Project and Quality management
  • Experience in a multinational in sector food or pharmaceutical
  • Experience in Food Safety management, HACCP management, GMPs (Hygiene practices, Sanitation, Environmental Monitoring, etc), continuous improvement
  • Experience in TPM, Statistical tools, Green belt six sigma, LEAN would be an asset
  • Strong business change management, project management, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of platforms and information systems like SAP and Power BI
  • Language: English is a must; Spanish and Portuguese desirable (not a must)
  • Cocoa expertise is desirable (not a must)
  • Quality Lead/manager in a factory or regional quality staff
