SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Job Summary:
 

The Project Manager, Operations and Supply Chain will coordinate with Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and other Support teams to ensure successful implementation of Operations & Supply Chain strategic projects, including Capex implementations while holding commercial teams accountable for their commitments. The individual in this role will be a key contact and solution provider for internal and external customers and stakeholders.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Thorough understanding of the Business Cases, including commercial, investment and strategic assumptions to ensure the achievement of the approved business cases.
  • Organize and lead weekly status meetings, ensuring representation by functional departments on an as-needed basis
  • Coordinate integration activities of functional teams:
  • Engineering and Operations (CAPEX execution, production, permitting)
  • Supply Chain (materials management, logistics support, central planning)
  • Sales (commercial opportunities, sales presentations)
  • QA (supplier approval, plant modifications)
  • R&D and Master Data (product development, recipe approval, transfer approval, and system setup)
  • Sourcing (ingredient availability and delivered cost optimization)
  • Customer Service & Pricing
  • Prepare and/or assemble weekly status presentation, encompassing:
  • Investment spending
  • Ramp up Plans
  • Master Data (recipes; raw materials; customer; System)
  • Commercial Progress
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and engage appropriate resources as necessary
  • Identifies and manages resources, including cross-functional members, to successfully execute projects;
  • Support setup and management of strategic co-man / co-pack activities for the region



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering

 

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years of Project Management and Operations experience in a Manufacturing industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain function
