About the role: 

The Trade Support Manager will provide support to the Director in taking strategic decisions and work closely with the trading/logistics team and supply chain teams in a national, multi-plant environment.


Key responsibilities include: 

•    Contract Management - Entry of contracts, contract reconciliation with suppliers and internal customers, archiving
•    Manage, execute and enter and provide inputs on profitability of daily transactions and manage daily P&L activities.
•    Pricing system management - Oversight of raw material pricing, escalations and maintenance within SAP system
•    Obtaining quality feedback from QA teams and follow-up on quality claims with suppliers
•    Manage supplier approval process 
•    Support the trading team with market analysis as required
•    Knowledge of the cocoa/commodity markets and ability to make presentations to customers as required
•    Prepare buying plans on periodic basis based on internal and external supply and demand factors
•    Create management reports to manage stock levels and working capital including supply chain financing programs
•    Ensure costing for various supply chain activities are monitored and support as required.
•    Resolve Invoice discrepancies and support with accounts in timely payments 
•    Assist with position management and risk management by preparing periodic reports
•    Working with SAP, support the supply chain requirements in an international
•    Assist with new business opportunities and trading opportunities as they arise. 


About you:

•    Bachelors / Master’s Degree.
•    Commodity trading related experience of 3-8 years; cocoa experience preferred but other relevant commodity experience can be taken into account.
•    Use of derivatives trading critical; knowledge of options trading would be a big plus.
•    Exceptional time management and organizational skills
•    Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
•    Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
•    Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
•    Working knowledge of SAP
