Barry Callebaut is looking for a motivated intern to join the QA Customer team for the summer. The Summer Intern for QA Customer Support will have the opportunity to work with different departments on projects to meet customer requirements. As an intern, you will be able to participate in customer meetings and experience negotiating on different matters to achieve win-win situations. Enthusiasm, multitasking and passion will be crucial to work efficiently and effectively across a variety of projects and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to grow your skills in QA Customer Service and build networking opportunities with customers and different stakeholders in Barry Callebaut. 


Key responsibilities include: 


  • Lead data analysis of customer Quality Survey results and identify program improvements 
  • Manage gap analysis of non-conformances from audits, identify program gaps and solutions
  • Assist in the development of tools and training to support Customer Quality Requirements
  • Assist in the management of complaint data analysis and follow ups with manufacturing sites and/or customers 
  • Actively participate in customer meetings to understand their requirements and analyze how Barry Callebaut can meet their requirements
  • Work with the Barry Callebaut sites on key projects to meet customer requirements
  • Participate in various projects involving customer specifications and Barry Callebaut CoA’s database to create alignment within the different sites

About you: 


  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree, with interest in Food Industry (Quality or Customer Service preferred) 
  • Interest in food manufacturing, chocolate is a plus 
  • Excellent communication and organization skills 
  • Excellent project management skills – ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Teamwork and cooperation 
  • Sense of urgency and initiative 
  • SAP and Salesforce knowledge a plus
