SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Job Summary:

The Finance Business Partner is an essential member of the finance organization and high growth business units. You will support the Gourmet, Specialties and Marketing businesses by performing duties related to financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and strategy. You will support the Senior Manager, Finance BP and the Vice President of each business by delivering timely and accurate financial data and analysis to drive critical business decisions. This role requires collaboration with Sales, FP&A, Pricing, and other key stakeholders to advance the business.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain financial reports and analysis to improve the financial performance of the business unit
  • Support month-end close process by providing detailed and timely variance analyses
  • Contribute to and support the annual budget cycle and mid-term planning processes
  • Maintain and improve sales forecast by identifying potential commercial risks and opportunities
  • Participate in account management discussions, customer reviews, and sales planning strategy
  • and industry dynamics
  • Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting for reports, graphs, charts and presentations
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management presentations
  • Participate in ongoing continuous improvement and finance related projects to ensure best practices


 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting

 

Work Experience:

  • 6-10 years of experience in food manufacturing, food ingredients, or commodity-related business
  • Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and commercial analysis
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP/BIW experience preferred
  • Previous cocoa and chocolate industry experience preferred but not necessary
