Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a crucial role in supporting the South America Sourcing team in regards to ongoing business, but also change management during transformation or based on Global needs. The FBP will be versatile, demonstrate resilient behavior and has an in-depth process understanding in order to solve non-standard challenges. The FBP should be a strategic collaborator and co-lead financial strategy development, assess opportunities and risks, and drive action plans to achieve company targets. 

 

The FBP will exercise active leadership in a matrix organization to ensure collaboration with Pricing, IM/IT, Regional Finance, and Sales. The FBP will have deep mastery of the diverse, complex South America landscape, and strong multifunctional partnering skills with Sourcing BP, South America FP&A, Risk Management, CSD, GBS Record to Reporting team, and Treasury. 

 

The FBP needs to develop and transfer Financial capability to Sourcing FP&A in GBS in regard to the Financial and analytics processes including the design of financial processes towards Global harmonization, including leverage Analytics systems (Power BI) and other technologies to enhance financial reporting and analytics capabilities.

 

Key responsibilities include: 


●    Business partner for the South America Sourcing team, Supporting Americas FBP Sourcing 
●    Co-lead strategy through financial insights on South America P&L, B/S, & Cash flow reporting, detect risk & opportunities, and provide drivers/ develop strategic initiatives to drive action plan to close gaps
●    In collaboration with FBP Americas evaluate risks associated with new sourcing strategies and prepare comprehensive investment proposals backed by financial models. Develop and manage finance strategy by designing finance process and reports to be used to drive performance and steer strategy 
●    Support the Global Sourcing Finance organization with regards to standardizing processes, reporting, and analytics.
●    Deploy the re-engineered processes, capabilities and re-architected finance systems to measure performance vs targets and support enhancement of FP&A activities
●    Lead the South America Sourcing Team through Strategic Plan (MTP), Budget & Forecasting cycle preparation and presentation supported by / in close collaboration with FBP Americas and FP&A Team (GBS based)
●    Initiate working capital improvement initiatives, collaborating with Treasury and South America Finance to optimize accounts payables and inventory.
●    Collaborate, cross functionally, in a matrix organization with Pricing, Sales and Sourcing to steer margin decisions (P&L bottom line accountability in Matrix Org)
●    Review and manage the development and timely submission of all reported KPIs for South America Sourcing lead and related presentations (i.e. Internal quarterly reviews, monthly South America reviews etc.) supported by / in close collaboration of FP&A Team (GBS based)
●    Drive controls and review financial process over supplier usage (counterparty risk & diversification), monitor risk single source suppliers supported by / in close collaboration of Analytics and FP&A Team (GBS based)
●    Review finance process to safeguard processes and procedures within Sourcing (Internal Control)  
●    Lead and manage resources in a matrix with multiple stakeholders (up to Ex Co members): Sourcing, Pricing, Risk management, Treasury, Chocolate South America, Group CFO 
●    Manage resources and influence in matrix organization, manage processes via GBS based resources 


About you:

 

●    5+ Years of applicable Finance / Controlling experience preferably developed in a Food processing environment. 
●    Experience with controlling, Risk management incl. commodities / derivatives management.
●    Bachelor in Finance / Controlling or Business Administration, Master degree considered a plus 
●    High analytical skills supported by very strong capabilities in MS Office & SAP R/3, Microsoft Power BI /dash boarding 
●    Presentation skills, ability to influence / strong collaboration skills in Matrix organization
●    Organizational agility
●    Accuracy and an analytical mindset are key for this position

Expected Salary range for this position $85,000-95,000 plus potential bonus
