Under the direction of the Plant Site Manager and Warehouse Supervisor, oversees and executes all activities concerning warehouse such as Finish Good product reception, handling, picking, and shipping. Supervises the control and execution of daily pick line replenishment. Troubleshoots daily issues with Finish Good orders to ensure order fulfillment. Assists Warehouse Lead with administrative duties as needed.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for the proper operation of the forklift, reviewing the records of each operator and placing maintenance tickets where needed and ensuring integrity of data.
  • Prioritizes warehouse tasks to ensure adherence to daily transportation to reduce detention. 
  • Validates outbound shipments for quality and accuracy to prevent customer complaints.
  • Supervise inbound and outbound preparation and receipt of goods.
  • Ensure on time and accurate replenishment of material to Module pick Line. 
  • Conduct SAP transactions to ensure all material movement and disposition is properly recorded.
  • Coordinate daily warehousing activities with the following groups: production, quality, finance, and planning.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Finish Good inventories. Reports and explain all inventory variances.
  • Control of available warehouse spaces for reception, Staging and retrieval. Optimize floor space utilization as appropriate.
  • Maintain records and warehouse cleanliness to meet AIB/BRC standards.
  • Commit to fulfill the expectations of quality and service of the clients, as well as the current regulatory compliance applicable to the food industry.
  • Other responsibilities as needed including but not limited to staging the materials for the upcoming day, complete any pending paperwork, complete loadouts and support operations with baling or melting if needed

About you:

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a warehouse environment including familiarity material handling
  • 5+ years in warehouse operations with emphasis on the food industry desired.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • SAP work experience preferred.  
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail orientated, interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, must work autonomously with a minimum of supervision.
  • Must be able to adhere to all GMP and food safety rules.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop direct reports.
  • Ability to work independently, and to meet deadlines.
  • Detail & results oriented.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 Kg (50 Lbs.)
  • Available for overtime when required and available to work on the weekends.
  • Initiative / Proactivity: Do more than expected in its position, carrying ideas for improvement and actively participate in its implementation.
