This role as Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall Supply Chain operation for the plant. The Supply Chain Manager ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.


Key responsibilities include: 


●    Control, plan, direct and manage the supply chain to ensure customer fulfillment is balanced with service, delivery and stock performance.  
●    Plans and oversees strategic, operational and administrative programs, projects and services as it relates to the NA Supply Chain operation.
●    Regularly review and improve service delivery performance targets, stock and capacity utilization at the lowest cost to the organization.  
●    Ability to work cross functionally with peers in other groups and sites to ensure collaboration of shared goals.
●    Create and sustain an effective organizational structure to achieve functional goals. Provide guidance and identify talent to develop a strong team.
●    Manage planning process and overall provisions of capacity. Manage overall allocation programs in times of demand exceeding supply.
●    Maintain an efficient product to ensure the right items are available at the right place, at the right time to achieve optimum customer satisfaction.
●    Maintain interface with vendors and Customer Service to ensure that materials and requirements meet established standards and that applicable policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.
●    Prepare and coordinate the preparation of reports and analyze setting for the progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
●    Committed to providing a safe food product.
●    Works within all regulatory requirements.
●    Perform all other related duties as requested.
●    Participate on project teams as needed.
●    Responsibility for all safety initiatives – including employee and food safety. 
●    Develops tracks and publishes KPI’s and participate in weekly/monthly STA staff meetings as well as Departmental Reports.
●    Meets/exceeds requirements for food safety and employee safety.

 

About you:


●    Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated work experience in vendor management, and project management.  BA/BS degree in business.
●    Ability to identify complex problems and interpret operational needs.
●    Demonstrated ability to work well under continual time deadlines and financial goal.
●    Prior management/supervisory experience and the ability to manage/supervise groups within an international environment.
●    Computer skill – Excel/MRP/SAP/WMS
●    Travel occasionally 10-30% based on assigned project locations 
●    Must be able to freely move around entire facility. 
●    Ability to work in and be exposed to heat.
