About The Role 

Our position of Logistics Specialist, based in Casablanca, Morocco.

 

Our position, Logistics Specialist combines and coordinates day-to-day logistics activities in plant, local Warehouse and in external DC with help of the Barry Callebaut team and the 3rd party service provider.

This position holder is responsible for the inbound flow of raw materials from Suppliers, day-to-day logistic operations in the plant as well as the outbound flow of goods to local customers.

 

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Ensures that all Suppliers are operating at all time in line with BC transportation and Quality standards, as well as that all Safety measures are 100% respected;
  • Ensures that all request for transports to Customers are processed accurately, on time and in best interest of BC by securing full time traceability of shipments and by securing that transport company is using adequate equipment for unloading;
  • Ensures that local Warehouse and external DC  is operating at all times fully complaint to BC Quality standards for storage and manipulation, as well as that Safety measures are 100% respected; 
  • Manages and ensures  that all requests for goods movements  are timely and accurately entered into the ERP (SAGE) system according to the process . 
  • Manages the process of operational inventory management  to achieve compliance of the actual state of products in warehouses with the target  
  • Performs periodical checks/stock counts, identify gaps and proposes settlement resolutions
  • Maintains  a record on Warehousing and Transportation supplier performance and identify gaps in service and set up action plans for improvements
  • Participates  directly in the integrated planning process
  • Follows up the Supplier Service Level
  • Works on continuous process improvement, keep records

 

About You

  • Bachelor Degree in Management Science, Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar
  • Experienced in Import Export Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar preferably in Food Industry
  • 5 years of related work experience
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications and SAGE
  • English & French business proficiency both written and oral
  • Strong analytical mindset and good communication skills
