Job summary:

The Business Analyst role requires strong business support, business analysis, data analysis and testing experience. The person will work as support and project teams’ member.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs design sessions in a certain business process area, defends the business process and application template for any implementation (M&A, greenfield), at the senior level.
  • Performs in an independent way full lifecycle project tasks:  detailed design, build/configuration, testing, data design & coach data preparation by business users, training planning & execution, conversion planning & execution, go-live support.  Tasks cover all aspects of business change (processes, business data, supporting applications, organization alignment, enabling IT-infrastructure).
  • Focus is on “Incidents”, “Service Requests” and “Information Request” tickets from the users, works on “Requests for Change” which are bundled into quarterly Enhancement packs.
  • Solves independently the assigned tickets, works with development team to get any development done and with Application Delivery teams for template guidance.
  • Ensure that assignments get resolved/tested and approved according to procedures, including User Acceptance Testing.
  • Monitor interfaces/batches – analyze issues and dispatch to the relevant teams.
  • Work with people from remote locations/regions (internal/external).

 

Requirements:

  • Master degree in (applied) Finance, Economics or similar.
  • 5 + years of experience within application maintenance or application support within an international company.
  • Experience with ITIL processes & systems (incident & change management).
  • Experience in working with SAP R/3 system (FICO module preferably).
  • Have an interest and knowledge of Intercompany Reconciliation processes.
  • Experience in Intercompany Reconciliation (ICR) SAP module would be an advantage.
  • Analytical mind, structured and attention to detail makes you an ideal candidate.
  • Excellent communicator and team player with a critical, yet result-oriented and positive attitude.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Partial mobility required – 30% of possible travel
