About the role:

 

The Production–Liquid Operator role requires a strong combination of technical ability, food‑safety awareness, communication skills, and mechanical aptitude to ensure safe and efficient transformation of raw materials into finished liquid products. 

The Production-Liquid Operator ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Operate production equipment and follow recipes accurately according to the production schedule.
  • Adjust processing parameters (pre‑refiners, refiners, conch temperatures) and add required ingredients per specifications.
  • Operate and monitor PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to ensure proper equipment performance.
  • Transfer product safely and efficiently between processing equipment and finished tanks.
  • Conduct quality checks, including fineness testing and CCP monitoring, and record results.
  • Perform basic and preventive maintenance, identifying and escalating mechanical issues when required.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP procedures, and sanitation standards.
  • Use SAP and other systems for production data entry, inventory tracking, and documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed production logs, shift records, and operational documentation.
  • Communicate production status, issues, and shift handover information clearly to team members and leads, while supporting cross‑trained roles as needed.

 

About you:

 

  • High school diploma required.
  • Food manufacturing experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with SAP considered an asset.
  • Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
  • Must be able to lift 55lbs.
  • Ability to work in and be exposed to heat.
