About the role: 

The Traffic Coordinator supports the planning and execution of intercompany and internal freight movements across the private fleet network. This role focuses heavily on administrative coordination, Transportation Management System OTM execution, Shippeo tracking, load planning support, and maintenance scheduling assistance to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of company-owned goods between facilities and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Working hours: 100% on-site, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.  

This position does not offer relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate daily intercompany freight movements between plants, warehouses, and distribution centers.
  • Schedule, track, and monitor shipments to meet production and inventory requirements.
  • Create, update, track, and close loads in OTM (Oracle Transportation Management).
  • Serve as the main point of contact between shipping locations, receiving sites, and fleet operations.
  • Maintain shipment schedules and proactively communicate delays, changes, and exceptions.
  • Ensure accurate transportation records, including shipment documentation, driver assignments, and equipment utilization.
  • Manage invoice processing, billing documentation, and internal chargebacks.
  • Prepare and distribute operational reports, shipment updates, and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain master data in OTM, including locations, routes, and equipment information.
  • Support load planning, consolidation, and routing optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor transportation workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and support continuous process improvements.
  • Track KPIs and maintain dashboards to support transportation performance, compliance, and asset utilization.

About you: 

  • High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience tracking shipments and coordinating with drivers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS); OTM and SAP are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling administrative and transportation data.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of information and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, hands-on professional with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to operational success.
