About the role:
As a Regional Marketing Manager – CEE, you will drive impactful marketing strategies across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region for both Food Manufacturers (FM) and Gourmet segments. This is a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, developing sustainability campaigns, managing segment portfolios, and leading digital transformation initiatives.
In collaboration with internal teams and external partners, you will manage marketing activities that align with business objectives and regional goals. Your efforts will contribute to building Barry Callebaut’s brand presence and ensuring the successful execution of strategic marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities:

Plan and execute internal and external events, ensuring they meet strict deadlines and budgets.

Build strong relationships with vendors, venues, and industry contacts to deliver creative and impactful events.

Stay ahead of trends in event planning, design, and production to proactively address operational challenges.

Develop and implement annual sustainability campaigns to achieve volume targets.

Influence key customer relationships to advance sustainability initiatives.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver regional sustainability goals.

Create and execute strategic segment campaigns aligned with business objectives.

Develop marketing collateral and manage portfolio training to address market needs.

Drive portfolio development to ensure alignment with customer demands and business opportunities.

Research consumer behaviors and implement findings into digital marketing campaigns.

Prepare detailed performance reports on marketing campaigns, including ROI and KPIs.

Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative growth strategies.

Work closely with Sales Directors, HOM Clusters, the global team, and the CEE leadership team to align marketing initiatives.

Collaborate with external stakeholders, including customers, media, PR agencies, and creative agencies.
About you:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Proficiency in Google applications, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.

Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Minimum of 10 years in sales and marketing, managing multi-brand portfolios across CEE markets.

Proven track record of marketing success in large B2B/FMCG organizations within the food and beverage industry.

Experience in 360-degree marketing calendars, distributor management, and product launches in new and existing markets.

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with budgetary control and pricing mechanisms.

Knowledge of FM and Gourmet chocolate business is highly desirable.

Ability to manage complex business models and navigate matrix organizations.
