Our position of FM Key Account Manager based in Belgrade, Serbia:
Promoting Barry Callebaut sales within the functional area guidelines for Food Manufacturers Europe, achieve the business targets for the regional Key Accounts.

Developing and maintaining the strategic, business relationships with these key customers and develop account strategies, in conjunction with the divisions’ management. Delegating, motivating and inspiring internal stakeholders for the common goal.   

 

Description of Tasks

  • Translating the sales strategy into a local Key Account strategy and drive the implementation in the area of responsibility. Determining of a multiyear-plan by implementing strategies, analyzing & improving trends and results. 
  • Ensuring that all sales activities are addressing tasks needed to meet the commercial objectives as well as grow the market potential (e.g. ambitious target setting, target achievement)
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with defined key customers in the region.
  • Contributing to defining the direction of new products, processes, standards and operational plans based upon business strategy, with significant mid-term impact on the business unit.
  • Analyzing complex issues and modify working methods in own area (operational, human, financial related topics; always area of tension between internal goals and customers’ needs).
  • Collaborating constantly and directly with marketing, pricing, sourcing, supply chain… to achieve short and medium term objectives in terms of volume, margin and market share. 
  • Internal stakeholder management and negotiation: reach agreement of strategic importance with others within the organization who have differing perspectives and objectives (sourcing Zurich, pricing...).
  • Continuously observing critical trends and evolutions and in a timely manner translate and communicate to the relevant functions in the organization.
  • Ensuring professional customer relationship management (CRM system).
  • Actively increasing continuously own professional knowledge and expertise and ensure understanding of the global BC organisation.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor /Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Sales & Marketing
  • 3-4 years of relevant working experience in Sales, preferably in a multinational FMCG company
  • Commercial skills (presenting, discussing, negotiating)
  • Knowledge of the chocolate / gourmet industry is a plus
  • Being open to and adapting quickly to new sales and marketing approaches
  • Fluent English and Serbian
