About the role:

As a Demand Planner SEE, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate demand planning across the South East Europe (SEE) region to support timely order fulfillment and raw material planning. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams, you will play a critical role in aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities and identifying opportunities to optimize inventory and production processes.

This hybrid role offers a mix of strategic planning and operational execution, allowing you to make a tangible impact on Barry Callebaut’s success in the region.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand customer needs and align final demand plans with supply capabilities.
  • Forecast Management: Identify gaps and opportunities in business lines, ensuring alignment between demand and supply.
  • Inventory Management: Manage raw materials, including bulk and dry ingredients, to maintain safety stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Operational Coordination: Work cross-functionally to finalize new product pipeline volumes and ensure adequate stock for forecasted sales demands.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in demand planning accuracy and reporting.
  • Vendor and Customer Interaction: Create purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely order placement and confirmation.
  • Logistics Support: Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments based on material and customer requirements.
  • Non-Conformance Program: Manage NCR (Non-Conformance) incidents, including vendor follow-ups and issue resolution.
  • Claims Reconciliation: Ensure all existing claims are reconciled by the end of each month.
     

About you:

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, or Economics); MBA preferred.

  • 2–3 years in demand planning, forecasting, or a related role.

  • Proficiency in forecasting methods and their operational impacts.

  • Experience in using SAP and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in statistics and Excel.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
