Barry Callebaut Ibérica is looking for a Technical Sales Manager!

 

As Technical Sales Manager, individuals will manage, coordinate and set up the working plans of a team of technical sales representatives. He/she will work closely with end users to grow and promote the sale of all gourmet products in the assigned territory. Internally he/she will execute and implement marketing plans in coordination with the push team and be accountable for all reporting and transfer orders to distributors.
 

Main responsabilities:
- Grow sales and margin in the geographical area of responsibility thanks to technical /business interactions with end users

- Offer the suitable solutions to end user needs with an application approach

- Convert prospects into customers and upsell and cross sell in existing ones

- Collect and transfer to the proper distributor, end user orders in alignment with the Sales Manager
- Coordinates with Sales Manager and informs the push team
- Identify and resolve end users concerns with a hands on approach when needed
- Perform one to one sessions and technical interventions at end user level to make sure that our products benefits and features are effectively communicated to the end users
- Communicate sales opportunities and end user suggestions to the entire sales organization, trade marketing and Academy team.

-  Works with the Trade Marketing and Academy team to ensure that the company value proposition is well transferred to end users
- Supports and participates in demonstrations, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
- Submit weekly customer visit plans; schedule client meetings and action plans for follow-up in alignment with area Account Manager
- Efficient usage of SalesForce.com and keep data base updated

Requirements:
- Technical education in pastry, bakery and/or confectionery.
- Commercial background in bakery, pastry or gastronomy with proven sales experience (+ 5Y)
- Team Management (+ 5 Y)
- Customer focus and Goal oriented
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
-  Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills and autonomy
- Microsoft Office and CRM user (sales force preferred)
- English proficiency (B1/B2)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Valid driver license
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
