About the role
Oversee, plan and manage purchasing, logistic, and supply chain planning activities, call off plan and follow up on shipment arrival. This role will also coordinate with Customs brokerage and transportation for inbound shipments in Thailand.
Key responsibilities include
- Manage the whole Supply Planning process and monitor the inbound update S&OP file and re-export of Choco and Cocoa products
- Process with Courier company with Customs Brokerage clearance on sample Choco & Cocoa products
- Follow up shipping documents with Sites on time to avoid any extra charge very closely and file shipping documents in the right place
- Follow up with Commercial to get the buying contract
- Coordinate with Customs brokerage and understand Shipping documents with the Customs process
- Update shipment arrival to Customer as requested
- Proceed in Oracle system, Purchase module to generate Purchase Order. Coordinate with Oracle Consultants when having any issues in the system (Issue PO for Choco & Cocoa Products and other office administration requests to buy)
- Prepare documents for registration import license of products with Thai FDA and the necessary document authority to Customs Dept.
- Upload of Intercompany replenishment to SAP ECC
- Negotiate and monitor Supply Chain costs from Customs brokerage, Shipping Line and Transportation and review annual contract by monitoring KPI as agreed
- Preparing yearly Budget for Inbound & transport costs; analyzing monthly expenses with Finance
- Looking for initiatives Productivities saving Inbound cost & KPI by monthly, and yearly target set up and review the results
- Monitor performance and work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Update GIT (Good in Transit) month end with Customer Service Sites and submit to Finance
- Support Shipping documents when external Auditor request
- Communicate with Customer Planner to have forecast on demand planning to build stock for 3 – 6 months foresee, send the PO with Call off plan to Customer Service Sites (BC, Belgium, Singapore, Swiss, Malaysia and Indonesia) to have data on ETA date
- Support RA (Rainforest Alliance) audits, requirements and compliance.
- Support and perform a good practice following company rules, code of conduct, GMP, food safety, Safety and environmental procedures or any company announcement
- Monitor Suppliers and service providers in line with the global guidelines and standards
- Manage and support office administration tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- Develop, and improve existing and potential Customer service standards
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any other related fields
- Fluent command of written and spoken English
- Experience min 5 years experience in Import & Export
- Experience min 2 years experience in supervisory level
- Resolve complex operation problems/issues and respond on time with accurate
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong planning and analytical skills
- Able to work independently
- Good interpersonal abilities
- Good PC skills and ability to operate Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, Oracle and SAP
