About the role
The position is responsible for the implementation of the project defined in each program in West Sulawesi. This includes controlling cost for the activity executed under his responsibility, managing staff, performance management of programs and standard operations, managing relationship with the customer(s) and partner(s), supporting M&E, client relation(s) and R&D.The implementation of program activity in West Sulawesi aims at creating positive return for the company, fulfill bean sourcing sustainability specs and volumes, fulfilling client and donor contracts and achieving positive impact for the performance of farmer organization performance and livelihoods of individual farmers.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop, plan, manage and supervise the end-to-end implementation of the program(s) in West Sulawesi by the regular site(s) weekly field visits & monitoring
- Prepare, monitor, and control sustainability program(s) on the ground, to ensure that the goal(s) of the program(s) is on track
- Coordinate with program partner(s) to align the objective(s) and GAP to be passed on to farmers.
- Initiate communication with the government or third parties related to the Sustainability program(s) and initiatives to identify farmers-related information
- Develop, plan, manage, and supervise the overall Farm Services program implementation in West Sulawesi program(s)
- Ensures the program(s) deliver tangible results for the customer(s) and farmers.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science. Agriculture/Business Administration Management
- Fieldworker who has minimum 2-3 years experience managing and leading sustainability programs on the ground (palm oil, coffee, cocoa, others) and with experience to develop certification programs (RA)
- Good understanding in:
- Business management, field team management
- Agricultural sector
- Sustainability in agriculture, certification Rainforest Alliance or others
- Business processes in cocoa farming (preferably)
- Extensive knowledge in the agriculture sector, preferably in cocoa
- Has good leadership & communication skill and ability to work together with various parties with different backgrounds
- Posses analytical skills to draw recommendations for project development
- Willing to be placed in Mamuju, Sulawesi Barat
