Buyer Indirect Spend (12 Month FTC)

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manages all indirect spend (Opex and Capex), looking for both short term opportunities through spot buy reduction and long term opportunities through strategic sourcing activity;
  • Represents  the BC sourcing department in the indirect spend area for both technical and non-technical spend, advocating procurement and sourcing, demonstrating added value for BC;
  • Spreads and implements purchasing processes as a constant reference for stakeholders and internal customers;
  • Builds and maintains Supplier relationships with the objective of reducing costs, eliminating inefficiencies throughout the Procurement Cycle and being a representative of our company’s core values;
  • Analyzes the market finding for opportunities to improve the suppliers base with the best possible alternatives according to the sourcing policy;
  • Develops strategies and tactics – together with the business - to give our company a competitive advantage in either technology or cost.

 

About you

 

  • Purchasing certificate / degree or relevant work experience  
  • Experience with MS office (excel), SAP and or Maximo        
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • 3-5 years of Indirect Spend experience
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Fluent in English language
  • Supplier negotiation
  • Purchasing Process Acumen
  • Strong Technical Knowledge
