Logistics Supervisor

About the role:
The Logistics Supervisor plays a central role in the Turkish TIGA Cluster Supply Chain operations, ensuring the efficient management of inbound, outbound, and inter‑site logistics processes. This role oversees 3rd Party Warehouse (3PW) operations, transport planning for solid and liquid goods, inventory accuracy, supplier performance management, and compliance with quality, food safety, and legal standards. It requires strong coordination with Customer Care, Planning, Quality, Production, Finance, and various Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day‑to‑day 3rd Party Warehouse (3PW) and transport operations to ensure smooth inbound, outbound and inter‑site logistics flows.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, including stock counts, corrections, scrapping processes, and alignment with SAP.
- Manage LSP (Logistics Service Provider) performance, including KPIs, audits, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate transport planning for solid and liquid products between factory, subcontractors and 3PW; handle exceptions and urgent changes.
- Support and execute refusals, returns and complaints, ensuring all SAP steps and documentation are completed.
- Lead or contribute to logistics and efficiency projects improving cost, performance and network flows.
- Secure full compliance with food safety, HSE and legal regulations, participating in internal and external audits.
- Manage data, reporting and analysis for warehousing, transportation and freight pricing to support supply chain decisions.
- Participate in tender processes for logistics and warehouse providers, including selection, onboarding and transition.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of logistics experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP (ERP) and MS Office tools.
- Solid understanding of logistics terminology and transportation/warehousing processes.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
- Team‑oriented with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Travel requirement - 40%
