Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for promoting Barry Callebaut’s commercial relations and vision throughout Israel and Turkey presenting BC value propositions and managing & acquiring Customers both in Industrial & Gourmet channels, and other business partners to set and deliver the financial ambition of the strategic plan. On top of existing trade partnerships, hunting new commercial opportunities in both channels Enabling further development of our positioning in the market (market intelligence, direct customer interaction). Preparing a joint business plan and marketing strategy with local stakeholders (marketing & technical). Executing the agreed action plan in the field. Managing and guiding distribution.

 

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures.
  • Expand, develop and maintain customer portfolio, new and existing customer relationships and ensure professional customer relationship management.
  • Increase the sales volume of specialty products in order to improve profitability from a product mix point of view.
  • Develop and participate in the maintenance of relationships with strategic customers and distributor.
  • Collaborate with marketing to achieve short and medium term objectives in terms of volume, margin and market share.
  • Actively support the implementation of customer relationship management for existing and new customers in the relevant segments and networks.

 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor / Master Degree
  • Based in İstanbul
  • 5+ years of experience in a food industry and specifically distributor management and export
  • Must have a strong French and English communication skills
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Preferably specific business understanding of the entire value chain of organizations in the chocolate industry
  • Preferably experience in corporate account management or out of home/horeca channels management/ B2B channels
  • No travel restrictions
