About the role: 

This position is responsible for leading the shipping and receiving duties, including material handling, product staging, inventory and cleanliness of the warehouse.

  • Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
  • Operate forklift vehicles in a safe manner
  • Perform all functions of Material Handler
  • Support OJT’s with new hires
  • Perform daily per-operational and Operational Safety Checklist
  • Pick and prepare outbound shipments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare STOs and coordinate all shipments with Transportation team
  • Check special instructions per customer
  • Maintain warehouse to a neat and orderly standard
  • Repair damaged cartons and bags
  • Understand the production flow and pallet per hour standards according to “support push load”
  • Comply with all OSHA standards, particularly forklift operation
  • Follow all regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Monitor and report team issues back to Supervisor
  • Fill in for Warehouse Supervisor as needed
  • Control of Raw materials for Internal and external Warehouse
  • Set up appointments at Biagi and TMS platforms
  • NCRs for suppliers and complaints
  • Product holds and dispositions
  • Perform investigations of service complaints and claims
  • Monitoring effectiveness of allergen program for raw materials
  • Receptions of raw materials and labeling
  • Monitoring shipping and receiving
  • Following FIFO for raw materials
  • Barcodes creation
  • Work side by side with Inventory coordinator to assure no discrepancies of the inventory
  • Raw materials replenished for production
  • Traceability exercise during MOC recalls

 

About you:

  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • Mechanical ability/aptitude, a plus
  • Valid motorized license, required
  • SAP and WMS knowledge preferred as well as math skills
  • Forklift experience, required
  • Excellent Safety record
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • PCQI certificate is a plus
  • Traceability exercise is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
