Salary: $27+ per hour.

Shift: 3rd shift (10PM - 6AM)

About the role:

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Production Lead (3rd shift) will be responsible for the coordination of daily shift operations.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for supporting and improving efficient equipment operation, training, organization, personnel issues, and employment placement on each shift.
  • Organization of day-to-day operations of shift including troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ensure correct completion of all shift paperwork.
  • Enforce company policies, safety standards, GMP standards, and HACCP.
  • Cross-train to be able to work in both areas of Molding and Chocolate Production.
  • Coordinate daily shift operations.
  • Audit shift and employee performance through SWF (Standard Work Form).
  • Review MUV report daily.
  • Perform quality checks of products and advice on how to solve issues.
  • Commit to fulfilling the expectations of quality and service of the clients, as well as the current regulatory compliance applicable to the food industry.
  • Responsible for reporting any situation of potential or real danger to your superior and the Quality department.

 

About you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of production manufacturing experience, ideally in the Food Manufacturing industry.
  • Mechanical ability/aptitude, is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills; Excel and SAP, required.
  • Must be able to adhere to all GMP and food safety rules.
  • Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
  • Available for overtime when required.
  • Available to work on the weekends.
  • Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail orientated, interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, must work autonomously with a minimum of supervision.
