About the Technical Graduate Program:

Our 2-year Technical Graduate Program for Africa creates an opportunity for young talents like you to deepen their expertise in an area they are passionate about. The program is launched in Barry Callebaut’s most strategic African locations, where our Graduate’s expertise is valued and entrepreneurship fostered.


About the Opportunity:

We are offering you this opportunity to further develop your career within our automation department. Over the 2 year term, you will gain significant international experience with the opportunity to undertake at least one rotation abroad.


Over the 3 rotations, you will gain experience across core areas including:

  • Understanding of all automated control systems and electrical equipment
  • Analyses automation gaps and correct current installations
  • Carrying out programs and modifications on Siemens PLC
  • Solving problems in automated control systems
  • Developing an operator-friendly interface on roasting.
  • Organizing the monitoring and updating of the maintenance documents, analysis, electrical drawing, and program backup.
  • Supporting the Manufacturing Execution System

NB:  To qualify for our technical graduate program applicants must bring a minimum of a total of 18 months of work experience and must hold a Bachelor’s Degree preferably complemented with a Master’s Degree.
