ABOUT THE ROLE

The sourcing coordinator will be responsible for client volume monitoring. He/She will act as an interface between the sustainability and traceability department and will be responsible for monitoring the sourcing team objectives. He/She will ensure business continuity in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing Manager. 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDE  

  1. Volume Monitoring
    •Participates in the development and monitoring of the purchasing matrix
    •Participates in the development of the MTP (mid-term plan)
    •Participates in the development and monitoring of the SOURCING dashboard
    •Participates in monitoring the growth of the supplier pool ranged by client according to the MTP/Matrix
    •Participates in monitoring the process of onboarding of the potential clients
  2. Client Volumes
    •Act as an interface between the sustainability and traceability departments of the country for all matters relating to client volumes/suppliers
    •Set up a client sourcing Reporting
    •Ensures business continuity in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing Manager
    •In case of absence from the Cocoa Sourcing Manager, acts as interim contact with the group for matters relating to client volumes/suppliers
  3. Cocoa sourcing Team Follow up and Assessment
    •Develops and monitors sourcing reporting and round tracking (round reports, geolocation tracking, and Travel business expense budget monitoring)
    •Monitors sourcing team's objectives (AFO/RFO)
    •Participates in the development and improvement of the competitive intelligence dashboard
    •Ensures continuity of operations with the sourcing team in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing Manager
    •Organize and lead local/group meetings in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing Manager
  4. Sustainability / Traceability
    Certification / Compliance
    •Participates in the follow up of Rainforest Alliance certification and validation of Rainforest Alliance volumes by sourcing team
    •Participates in the monitoring of Fairtrade certification and validation of Fairtrade volumes by sourcing team
    •Participates in the selection of suppliers for various projects and ensures that they meet the groups and clients’ requirements
    •Be the key point of contact between the sustainability and traceability departments to ensure that sourcing requests comply with the group's and client's prerogatives.
    •Monitor PP KPIs
  5. EUDR Traceability/Compliance
    •Monitor the updating of producer registration to support the traceability team
    •Participate and monitor the EUDR compliance remediation action procedure
    •Support the various requests of the traceability team.

ABOUT YOU 

  • Education and Experience:
    •Minimum 3 years in sourcing and/or sustainability in your country
    •Minimum bachelor's degree
    •Very good command of the Windows Communication Suite in French and English (fluent)
    •Knowledge of rural areas in Africa, if possible

 

  • Language Skills:
    •Fluency in both French and English with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages (mandatory)

    •Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
    •Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using insights for strategic decision-making

    •Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
    •A demonstrated ability to navigate and respect diverse cultural diversity contexts and practices
    •An experience of the cocoa sector would be highly appreciatedAbility to drive and possess a valid driving license
    •Be able to go on assignment outside the country
