About the role

  • Pursue new business opportunities and network with customers to achieve business targets and establish long-term business relationships. 
  • We are looking for a highly-motivated sales executive to accelerate the growth of our Gourmet brands
  • (Van Houten Professional, Callebaut, Cacao Barry, Carma, Mona Lisa) via acquisition, retention & growth of Key Accounts (especially to OEM, Bakery/Pastry Chains, and HORECA Chains) in Taiwan.
  • Key objectives increase direct contact with key account end-users, grow our customer base, drive volume & profitability growth, and increase brand awareness.
  • Develop & discover opportunities with distributors (KA seasonal project, public events & training).


Key responsibilities include

  • Lead the growth of our Key Account business in Taiwan by identifying, hunting & securing new Key Account Customers in all priority channels (OEM, Bakery/Pastry Chains, HORECA Chains). Strong connection with distributors & brands and penetrating to end-users
  • Directly support and feedback on customers’ demands, and explore totally volume scope.
  • Collaborate with a multifunctional team: R&D, supply chain, QA, marketing, sales, and chefs, customer service to deliver the best overall customer experience
  • Generate strong brand awareness & “pull” at the end-user level via sales & marketing initiatives both, independently & in collaboration with distributors.
  • Travel around Taiwan to identify new opportunities, especially to OEM customers, keep in touch with market developments & ensure close proximity to clients


About you

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a bakery-pastry-restaurant related field
  • Fluent in English: written & spoken
  • Min. 3yrs Sales or bakery-pastry-restaurant experience, ideally in bakery/pastry products, food ingredients, or branded food products
  • Experience working with or managing key accounts (OEM, Bakery/Pastry Chains, HORECA Chains) is critical.
  • Experience with distributors & distribution networks, especially in food service a plus
  • Good understanding or experience of Bakery/Pastry.
  • Competencies in MS Office especially Excel & PowerPoint is a must
