About the Role
The Warehouse Executive will support Barry Callebaut Malaysia supply chain and be responsible in the area of outbound logistics, cocoa bean supply and demand, and storage management.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:
•    Manage beans stock in beans warehouses by stock take and conduct regular check to ensure stock data are in line in SAP system (vs third party logistic warehouse management system). 
•    Monitor condition of warehouse and equipment to ensure beans stock are handled/kept in a good condition throughout the entire process (inbound, storage and outbound)
•    To facilitate cocoa bean quality survey as instructed by Logistics and QA.  To oversee and manage salvage sales and skimming activities for damaged cocoa.
•    Optimize bean delivery schedule to factories in Malaysia
•    Work with planning, production and sourcing manager in relation to the consumption of the cocoa beans, taking into consideration the quality and aging of bean stock to optimize call-off plan
•    Optimize stock storage plan in different warehouses to achieve efficient inbound/outbound process
•    Responsible for maintaining/documenting weight for any beans movement up to delivered factory
•    Prepare and check daily/monthly warehouse inventory report


About You:
•    Possess at least Diploma in logistic management, business administration or related.
•    Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in warehouse and logistic preferably related to food
•    Understand supply chain, production flow as well as warehouse management 
•    Understand food quality and safety standard as well as Halal requirements
•    Good communication skills
•    Driven, independent and a self-starter
•    Able to work under pressure in fast paced environment
•    Strong knowledge of MS office and SAP in logistic environment 
•    Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
