About you:

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst/ Product Owner Marketing Automation, laying the foundation for software development and solution designs for our marketing automation products. Reporting to the Director Digital Marketing, you will be the point of contact to advise and support internal customers in formulating and concretizing their requirements and the creation of digitally enabled marketing solutions. As a Product Owner for our marketing automation solutions, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that enhance our marketing automation capabilities, improve customer engagement, and drive business growth. You will work closely with marketing teams, technology partners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful automation solutions that align with our strategic goals.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for marketing automation that aligns with the direction set by the digital marketing director and business objectives while driving customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Work with marketing teams and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for marketing automation projects; translate these requirements into actionable user stories and product specifications.
  • Work and guide with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze and understand business requirements to design technical solutions for marketing automation that meet those needs.
  • Leverage their expertise in marketing automation to enhance data quality, streamline workflows, and create detailed business analysis, ensuring they meet organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, marketing, and data analytics, to design and implement marketing automation solutions that meet business requirements and optimize campaign performance.
  • Recommend improvements to business processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for marketing automation projects, owning the product backlog and prioritizing features based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Cooperate closely with the application management team in implementing, maintaining, and operating applications.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing automation initiatives, using data and analytics to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.

 

About you:

  • Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, business administration, marketing or a comparable field
  • Proficient in English
  • Advanced knowledge in marketing management, marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot/Marketing Cloud - Salesforce) and processes, digital marketing best practices
  • Advanced knowledge with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis, BPMN, UML)
  • Familiarity with project methodologies (both waterfall and agile) as well as agile product management  (e.g., using JIRA)
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data and draw insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to diverse audiences
  • Willingness to learn and try new technologies and topics
  • Ability to instruct employees and guide the solving of non-routine problems
