About the role

Due to a strong growth focus in the team we are currently looking for a MES Digital Change Lead to drive the challenging project implementations.

 

Key responsibilities include

Within the corporate process development & digital department you are responsible for transforming manufacturing operations during our global smart factory roll-out. Your main goal is to deliver on the industry 4.0 business case and create a data driven culture within BC that leads to value creation.
● You will interact with the sites where “ smart factory” gets deployed and you will be responsible to design and implement a playbook to consistently embed the new digital tools in daily operations on all levels of the organization and make sure to deliver on the productivity targets.
● You set-up change strategy and prepare all involved users and stakeholders in their new roles.
● You help the sites to prepare for the change, and create a roadmap for all stakeholders involved, going from impact on operators on a daily base up to reporting on management level on monthly basis.
● You have attention to the human side in the change process.
● Overall you are a strong communicator and act as a community lead to ensure best practices in smart factory benefit delivery and to make sure success stories get shared across the organization. You act as an ambassador for the global smart factory project.
● You work in close collaboration with the global digital manufacturing template leads to ensure functional requirements will get included in the smart factory standard.
● You collaborate actively with the global, regional and local process and continuous improvement teams to drive one joint Go4Zero culture.

 

About you

● Experience with digital transformation / Industry 4.0 in a manufacturing context
● Master degree in Engineering, Economics or Management
● 5-10 years of experience in a Process, CI or Operational role, experience with lean management is a plus
● Results-oriented team player with deep listening and influencing skills, capable to drive initiatives without direct authority or line management responsibility
● Experience in change management and problem solving techniques
● Basic knowledge of any ERP, MES & Historian systems
● Broad interest in process technology and strongly attracted by the chocolate industry
● Able to think strategically
● Good presentation skills, able to communicate thoughts in a crisp, structured way
● Confident in front of a large audience, convincing people through drive and enthusiasm.
● Able to use analytical tools and common office software
● Proactive and self-starter, able to find creative solutions in a complex industrial environment
● Fluent in English.
● Willing to travel ~30%

● Based in Belgium (Wieze / Halle) or Poland (Lodz)
